Welcome to MKA Karate! We are excited to announce the opening of our dojo in the Drexeline Shopping Center. Beginning in January, 2012, all classes will be held at our brand new facility at 5060 State Rd. 2nd Floor, Drexel Hill, PA. Our phone number will be: (610) 394-3040. We are the only Delaware Valley karate school to augment classical Ryukyu Kempo Karate with the elements of Modern Arnis, Small-Circle Jujitsu, Wei Kun Do, and Tang Soo Do. A solid foundation in Okinawan Karate lays the groundwork for exploration of several other approaches to self-defense to provide a thorough, well-rounded martial arts education.
As a specialist in Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine, MKA Karate's chief instructor enhances the martial arts experience by incorporating knowledge from his medical degree into a comprehensive and healthful education. As a practicing acupuncturist, he is a national authority on the use of pressure points for self-defense.
