About Us
MKA Karate can trace its roots back to 1984 and the Cardinal O'Hara Karate Club in Springfield, PA. This was run by Charles Terry during his Junior and Senior years of high school. In 1986, he went on the found the University of Pennsylvania Ryukyu Kempo Karate Club. In 1997 he and several of his top Black Belts opened MKA Karate in Drexel Hill, PA. In 2012 we moved to the Drexeline Shopping Center. In 2019 we merged with Medina American Kempo in the Springfield Shopping Center.
